WebMar 25, 2024 · Pixinsight also handles 32 bit files. Yes. 32 bit integer or floating point format. Also 64 bit both formats. If you have 16 bit integer format from the camera, and save the stacked image in the same format, you're not taking benefit from the added bit depth you get with stacking.

The generated image is garbage which is shown on the right of the image. It is supposed to be like the left side of the image.
