Instead, I've been having a 'blackout' where the screen fades to black prior to entering the battle, but never comes back. The game continues, but I can't see anything. This, or a game or computer freeze occurring when in the loading screen. That made me think that the problem might be the color profile, because my laptop is running a calibrated RGBadobe98 profile and the external is just vanila. So I turned HDR on and the color profile off and the tearing is gone.

I've tried forcing it on the Nvidia settings but that does no good. the frame rate is staying locked at 60fps like it's suposed to but the screen is still splitting when ever the view pans.
