WebbMy house was built in 1993, I bought it in 2003 and I have no reason to believe it's not the original transformer and doorbell. I installed my video doorbell pro and it rings just fine. I had some initial issues with humming at the transformer and some network issues but the chime connector solved both issues as soon as I installed it. WebbTo enable, first, go to Settings > Modes > Disarmed. Make sure "Enable Chirps" is toggled on. If it's off, that's likely your issue. Just to make sure it's fully configured, go to Devices > Alarm Base Station > and find the door sensor you're trying to be alerted to, and make sure that under "Chirp Tones" it's set to something other than "None."

I read your post and others and decided it was not worth my time and effort so I returned the doorbell. (I had to follow up for a refund) I bought a Ring and it worked perfectly!
